Individual support for people living with HIV
PositiveFaith helps our members to deal with emotional, relationship, spiritual and material needs.
-
Why individual support?
Before joining a support group, you may wish to speak with someone 1-2-1, or you may need advice on a sensitive matter that you would prefer to deal with on a 1-2-1 basis. Many of our members need individual support at times.
-
Who do you help?
We support people affected by HIV in the UK and Ireland. While we are a Catholic charity, our membership includes those from all faiths, and from no faith at all.
-
What support can you provide?
The support we provide begins with listening to you. Everyone needs someone with whom they can talk and who will understand them. We help to identify the concerns or problems you face and can support you to find a solution.
-
What can't you do?
We are not medical doctors. If you need medical advice you should contact your doctors surgery or HIV clinic. We do not offer specialist advice about housing, or legal matters, but we can signpost you to organisations that can help.
If you would like to find out more about what support we might be able to offer, please give us a call on 07505 608655 & leave us a clear message or send us your details using the form below. If you need support urgently, please contact Terrence Higgins Trust.
All contacts are treated confidentially.
